What We’re Doing to Stop the Spread

At Unity Wellness, we are taking every precaution to keep you and our team safe during the coronavirus pandemic. These measures adhere to the Alberta Health Services requirements and include:

  • Screening done at booking and at arrival for appointment
  • Mandatory hand washing/sanitizing upon entry and exit
  • Increased disinfecting/cleaning of patient and high touch areas
  • Plexiglass partition at front reception desk
  • Mandatory masking of practitioners with medical grade masks
  • Increased time between appointments
  • Mandatory mask/face covering required for patients
  • Practice environment restricted to those who must be present, including patients, patient chaperones or companions, and staff members
  • Asking patients to remain in their vehicle until appointment time

Before your visit, please review the following screenings questions. If you answer YES to any, we ask you to call 811, and then kindly reschedule your appointment with us

  1.  Do you have current symptoms of COVID-19, such as:
    • a fever,
    • a new or changed chronic cough,
    • a sore throat that is not related to a known or preexisting condition
    • a runny nose that is not related to a known or preexisting condition
    • Nasal congestion that is not related to a known or preexisting condition
    • Shortness of breath that is not related to a known or preexisting condition
  2. Have you traveled internationally within the last 14 days?
  3. Have you had unprotected close contact with individuals who have a confirmed or presumptive diagnosis of COVID-19 (e.g. individuals exposed without appropriate PPE in use).
