Support for Every Step
Dr. Elise Brouwer, DC, BSc(Kin), is a chiropractor with a passion for supporting patients through all stages of life, with a special interest in prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric care. Since graduating in 2020 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, she has pursued extensive post-graduate training to provide thoughtful, individualized care.
Dr. Brouwer is certified in the Webster Technique for treating pregnant women and has completed additional training in Spinning Babies to help support optimal positioning and comfort throughout pregnancy. She also provides gentle, effective care for infants using the PIPS (Paediatric Intraoral Palate Specific) technique. Her skillset is further complemented by certifications in Active Release Technique (ART), Dolphin Neurostim, and Neurofunctional Acupuncture completed through McMaster University.
Beyond the Standard Adjustment
Her approach to care is rooted in meeting patients where they are. Dr. Brouwer does not believe in a “no pain, no gain” philosophy—instead, she works within each patient’s comfort level and personal goals, selecting techniques that best suit their needs. She is experienced in a variety of adjusting styles, including diversified, drop-piece, and activator techniques, allowing her to tailor each treatment for optimal results. Her treatments may incorporate chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation exercises, as well as guidance on nutrition and supplementation to support whole-body health.
As a mother of two young children, Dr. Brouwer has both professional and personal experience in caring for pregnant women and young families. She is especially passionate about supporting women throughout pregnancy and postpartum, helping them feel comfortable, supported, and empowered during this important stage of life.
Outside the Practice
When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. Brouwer is usually outdoors or in the garden. This will be her first year attempting a small hobby flower farm on her acreage with her husband, two daughters and dog
